On the morning of August 27th, on behalf of the company’s board of directors, the Corporate Culture Department and the Labor Union co-hosted the “Spreading Warmth, Caring for Left-Behind Children” charity event to donate school bags and stationery. The event took place on the second floor of the administrative building as part of the 2024 “Growing Together with XINMO” series of events. A total of 24 employees from the Production and Material Control Departments of the Shaoxing Home Textile Division participated in the donation ceremony. The recipients of these donations were the children of these employees who remain in their hometowns, with a total of 31 left-behind children receiving donated school bags and stationery from the company.
After the ceremony began, Su Lei, the Director of the Corporate Culture Division, and Ms. Chen Jianmei, the Chairwoman of the Labor Union, distributed the school bags and stationery to the left-behind students. These items were sent through their parents to the children who are about to start the new school year, along with words of encouragement. Mr. Huang, the company’s CEO, also sent her blessings and encouragement to the children via WeChat.
A parent representative expressed heartfelt thanks for the company’s care, noting that the gifts were beautiful and the children would love them. They said they would convey the company’s kindness and the leaders’ concern to the children, who would study hard, live happily, and grow up healthy. The parents also expressed their dedication to working diligently and pragmatically for the company’s growth and their personal development.
